Visiting Møn?

Then why not stay at our little Motel right in the heart of Stege.

Easy to find, right beside Stege church and ”The Middle Ages” area of town.

About 150 meters from the main bus stop and tourist bureau.

Close to Stege harbour where you can enjoy the wonderful view all the way to Queen Alexandrines bridge while you take in the many sailing boats moored at the wharf.

Walk through the church grounds to the main street where you will find many restaurants, café’s and shops.

Møn is the ideal starting point for holidays in the Eastern part of Denmark. You will find the cliffs, the beaches and the wonderful countryside of the island just a short drive from Stege – while the sights and attractions of Copenhagen and Zealand can be reached within an hour's drive, such as Bon Bon Land and Knuthenborg Park.

Motel Stege offers 6 double rooms that have shower, toilet, and a little kitchen. There is also 6 rooms that can be used as double, family or 4 persons rooms. All these rooms feature shower, toilet, and access to a large shared kitchen. Some of our rooms have got TV and Internet, the wireless network allows to check your mails wherever your situated. Out the front there is a nice grassed area with some garden furniture which all the guests can enjoy on a warm day. A little grill place can also be found for those that want to make a Bar-B-Que.

 Motel Stege is about ½ way between the white cliffs (20 Klm's) and the bridge from Sealand. I will list a few other attractions on Møn together with approximate distances.

Liselund Park which is a romantic park with its fairy tale castle(20 Klm’s).

Ulvshale Forrest and with some of the oldest forest in Denmark(7 Klm’s).

Ulvshale beach popular bathing beach(5 Klm’s).

Nyord a little island village connected to Møn by a causeway and marshland which is teeming with bird life. Located at the marshland is a bird lookout tower making bird watching a great experience without disturbing anything(14 Klm’s). It will soon be possible to take a ferry boat trip from Stege to Nyord.

The magnificent old churches here on Møn, which are famous for their Fresco paintings. Motel Stege has as its neighbour Stege Church.

Then there are other beaches also close by where you can take  a sun bake and swim, or go fossiking for interesting stones, Amber, Flint,etc (10-20 Klm’s).

Stege the main town of Møn (pop. ca. 4000 citizens) offers also a few things to look at and experience. The Old Moat and the Museum to name a few. Tuesdays market in July when they close off the main street includes entertainment for all ages.
